Try DaisyMaths Online
Here we have links to online DaisyMaths programs. There are currently four things you can do online:
1. Try DaisyMaths 4
This new version of DaisyMaths cannot actually be run online without installing to your computer. However, the download and installation is very quick, simple and completely safe. If you would prefer to sample DaisyMaths before installing anything to your computer, please try some of the older DaisyMaths 3 exercises.
DaisyMaths 4 will run best on new operating systems such as Windows XP, Mac OSX or Linux. It needs a recent version of Java (1.3 or higher with Java Web Start). Click here to install Java.
After you have installed Java, please click the picture below to run the latest DaisyMaths.
For more information regarding the installation process, please refer to the Download page.
2. Try DaisyMaths 3
This older version of DaisyMaths should work in any modern web browser. Click a flower below to get started. (It might take a minute or two to come up).
If the flowers do not work for you, try using this page to run the activities.
3. DaisyMaths Problem Sheets Generator
We have been experimenting with producing printable DaisyMaths exercises.
The idea is that you get a computer to make some maths problem sheets, specially tailored for you, that you can print out. You choose a set of maths problems, specifying the amount of exercises, the difficulty level, and the style of answer sheet you want, using our special website. Our website then generates an exercises document for you, containing your problem and answer sheets, which you then download to your computer. The whole process should take only a few minutes. You can print as many copies as you want.
The steps are:
- Go to the DaisyMaths problem sheet website
- Choose a set of exercises and specify what you want, then click "Generate Problems"
- Download the generated document to your computer, and print it out.
The exercises document is in PDF format, and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print them. Please use this service as much as you like, and if you can, email us with your thoughts about it.
April 15, 2004: The old version of the problem sheet generator can still be accessed here. It will eventually be removed.
